18 SIM Boston Partnerships and Alliances SIM BOSTON • www.simboston.org “SIM is a fabulous organization – it’s provided me with a great peer network, tremendous learning opportunities through their events, and a chance to give back to the organization as a volunteer. Being active in SIM was a key factor in helping me land my dream job as IT Director of the AMC since it helped strengthen my confidence, my knowledge and my network throughout my job search. It’s a great resource to leverage as I face various IT challenges and I really enjoy the connections I’ve made”. There are two opportunities for sponsoring SIM Boston throughout the year. The first opportunity to sponsor SIM Boston is via the Annual Golf Outing, which is in its 15th year and provides participants an opportunity to spend a full day with IT colleagues, prospects, thought leaders, and partners. Thanks to our sponsors, members, and guests, we have raised over $770,000 during that time to help us support our Community Partnerships and Outreach Program. A detailed description of the sponsorship opportunities, benefits, and costs associated with sponsoring the Annual Golf Outing are described here. The annual SIM Boston Technology Leadership Summit is the second opportunity to become a sponsor of SIM Boston. The Summit drew more than 200 IT executives from over 80 of the region’s top IT organizations in 2015. Based on last year’s success, the expectations are for a significant increase in attendance this year. If you would like to become a sponsor of SIM Boston, or if you have any questions related to becoming a sponsor, please contact Doug new at DNew@yahoo.com or Dave Nuss at DNuss@cresa.com.
