The quarterly CIO Roundtable meeting includes memberdriven presentations on topics of common interest and need as well as selected presentations from industry experts on key topics and technologies of the day. Each meeting is followed by a networking dinner where members can share experiences and information in a relaxed, casual setting. The CIO Roundtable also maintains an online user community that serves as an invaluable reference for information SIM BOSTON • www.simboston.org on technologies, vendors, and other types of resources. Most members find this community an extremely valuable, unbiased and trusted source of information based on actual CIO experiences rather than vendor or industry hype. Currently there are three CIO Roundtables providing four quarterly meetings each – a total of 12 opportunities to meet and share. One roundtable series is conducted in the greater Boston geography and the other services CIO’s in the Southern Massachusetts and Rhode Island geographies. The third one is the Life Sciences CIO Roundtable for the CIO’s who work specifically in this growing industry. Technology Leadership Roundtable The Technologhy Leadership Roundtable is open to all SIM members. These roundtable meetings provide opportunities for peer discussion of trends, challenges, lessons learned, and best practices across a wide range of emerging and key topics of interest. The format is highly interactive and is facilitated by a practitioner with significant experience on the topic. windstreambusiness.com
