Service Desk Roundtable - Regional Leadership Forum

SIM Boston 2016 EMag

22 SIM Boston Programs Service Desk Roundtable Modeled after our other peer-to-peer roundtables, this group is designed to give Customer Service and Service Desk Managers a chance to meet with their peers to exchange real-world ideas, experiences and challenges. We discuss topics such as common and best practices, policies, tools, standards, metrics, and management activities. This Service Desk Roundtable is geared at IT Managers, Directors, VPs and anyone else who has direct responsibility for their company’s customer and internal IT support. Experienced practitioners are also welcome to attend with their manager. The Service Desk Roundtables are by invitation only to eligible chapter members. The typical Roundtable program is hosted by one of the members, and each session includes an overview of the host’s own Customer Support function, organization and operation. The group meetings also include open and frank discussions about timely and topical matters selected by the group. Following the program, dinner provides additional opportunity for relaxed discussions and continues the networking. Four Service Desk Roundtables are held each program year.
