SIM Boston Programs 23 RLF participants often cite the “life-changing” transformation they experience, coming out of the program with: • A distinct understanding of their personal leadership style • - An expanded sphere of influence • - A clearer vision of their future • - A renewed focus on maximizing their potential • - An enhanced ability to connect with others in a genuine, inspiring way • - Increased self-awareness and self-confidence The program consists of six highly-interactive, intensive twoday sessions spread over nine months. Each session provides a vibrant, experiential learning environment that distinctively develops leadership, team-building, creative thinking, listening, business ethics and understanding of the value of diversity. Participants discover and refine their individual leadership styles and practices and how to adapt them when needed. They learn from and dialogue with dozens of CXO speakers and experts who share their experiences, principles, best practices and guidance on issues that will impact tomorrow’s leaders. Participants also read and discuss over 30 books to absorb and understand a broad spectrum of vital leadership principles. The Executive RLF RLF graduates can also continue their journey of transformational change by participating in the Executive RLF – a program that builds the executive capacity of senior level leaders. The Executive RLF enables participants to: • Project an executive presence and influence built on core values and character. • Shape and advance a culture of achievement. • Strategically lead the organization through transformational change. • Read situations and people to determine the optimum leadership style to use in any given setting. • Earn their way to acceptance as an executive team member. Learn more at http://www.simnet.org/?ExecutiveRLF SIM Silver SIM Silver is an organization dedicated to members who are retired or are approaching traditional retirement. The primary goal of the organization is to promote learning and nurture relationships among its members. Also, it is an attempt to maintain the collective knowledge of these members. Currently there is over 300 years of SIM Boston experience in its membership. Programs focus on members’ areas of interest and have included: members’ life stories, financial planning, working with nonprofits, advising new technology ventures, books that members recommend, and other areas around learning, fun, travel and health. Meetings are held four times per year. Generally, they are held in the later afternoon, followed by dinner at a Boston-area restaurant. Non-members of SIM Silver are invited to attend. Membership in SIM Silver is voluntary and defined as being or having been a member of SIM Boston. Those wishing to participate should contact the SIM Boston Chapter Administrator to be placed on the SIM Silver mailing list. RLF Mentoring New for 2017 is the introduction of a RLF mentoring program. After an intensive interactive one-year program as a RLF trainee, the mentoring program allows you to continue your growth with 1:1 coaching. Program Goals: • Continued growth – expand the RLF experience with real life one-on- one coaching • Giving back – Open, honest, and transparent feedback on leadership – the good, bad, and ugly • Active SIM participation – sustained engagement of RLF grads in the local chapter Mentees
