To qualify for SIM Boston membership, applicants should generally fit one of the following categories. Applications are reviewed by our Membership Committee to ensure alignment with SIM's mission and membership criteria.

Technology Leader

A leader with 10+ years of experience who leads, manages, or shapes the strategic use of technology - driving innovation, operations, and impact across their organizations and the broader IT community.

Emerging Leader

A rising technology professional with 7+ years of experience who is driving impact, influencing decisions, and ready to grow into technology leadership roles. 

Academic Leader

Educators who are concerned with researching and teaching the theory, methodology, principles, and practices of information systems management and development, and the application of information technology for business benefit.

Consultant/Vendor

Consultants, vendors and others who are interested in promoting the management aspects of information technology.
